1868-1869: HYDROGRAPHIC CAMPAIGNS IN ARGENTINE PATAGONIA

In order to the beginning of 1868, the British Admiralty sent Captain RC Mayne, commanding the Brigantine HMS "Nassau" to complete the hydrographic work in the Patagonian channels. For two years conducted hydrographic and cartographic studies in the Strait of Magellan, the Beagle Channel and the bays and coves of the southern islands.
